3 Ways To Change Your Mindset

When you start to consistently dream big, you invite the possibilities into your life and everything changes. You live outside of your comfort zone, you learn and grow, and you become the creator of your own world. My life as a woman, mother, and business owner has been completely transformed by dreaming big.

Here are 3 ways to change your mindset so you too can Dream Bigger:

1. Own It

One of the most powerful steps you can take towards creating the life you love is to take complete ownership of everything that manifests within it. Your successes, failures, the way others treat you, your health, your happiness, etc. This is called owning it.

Owning it is not about blame towards yourself or anyone else. Instead, it’s about empowering yourself to create the life, success and happiness that you desire. It’s about being focused on solutions, being the best version of yourself, and how you show up in the world making it better for yourself, your family and your community.

Whether you’re unhappy in your relationship, with your job or your finances, you are totally responsible for everything that’s manifested in your life. This discovery can be hard to hear. Believe me, I know!

2. Visualize It

What is Visualization?

Visualization is the use of your imagination through mental imagery to create visions of what you want in your life. When we visualize our desired outcome, we begin to “see” the possibility of achieving it.

Your daily actions will change what you believe about yourself and the person you become. Every day spend time in silent meditation and concentrate on exactly what you would love to create in your life. Imagine every detail you can and then even more. Imagine your life exactly the way you would love it to be. Let your imagination be real enough to have it come true, yet ideal enough to inspire and stretch you.

You’ll first start by visualizing a better version of you. The goal of this step is not perfection but better.

3. Speak It

Words consist of vibration and sound. It is these vibrations that create the very reality that surrounds us. Words and the energy they carry can create a life of bliss or a life of misery. Without words, a thought can never become a reality.

So how do you change your mindset with your words?

You change your mindset by speaking positive words of affirmation. For example, suppose you have a negative thought about your health. A single thought alone will not produce adverse effects. However, negative thoughts combined with negative words will produce negative results in your life. On the other hand, a thought combined with positive words of affirmation will eventually produce positive results in your life.

Common negative statements: “You make me sick.” or “I’m losing my mind.”

Common positive statements: “I walk in divine health.” or “My mind is alert.”

The words used in the above-stated phrases will eventually produce those results. When we moan or complain about our lives to others, we are putting those negative words out there to become a reality. When you say something out loud enough times your words become the truth not only in your own mind, but in the minds of everyone you are saying them to.

So choose your words consciously and lovingly. Always speak from a place of love; for yourself, for your life and for others.
